Voice Bucks Youth Choir
Voice Bucks Youth Choir is an auditioned choir for 16-23 year olds who enjoy learning and performing a variety of music to a high standard. The choir offers unauditioned singing training days throughout the year for 13-23 year olds, offered free thanks to sponsorship by Bucks Music Education Hub. The main auditioned course is held at the end of the summer, and is a 4-day course culminating in a concert.
VBYC was founded in 2013 by musical directors Fiona Firth and Tim Venvell and develops young singers across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas to achieve their full potential in a friendly and relaxed environment.
The Choir has performed in a range of elegant settings over the last few years, including Missenden Abbey, Waddesdon Manor, Bisham Abbey, Harrods, and Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
VBYC has an eclectic repertoire, ranging from Baroque to Contemporary, spanning a number of different languages, and offers singers a chance to work on solo repertoire.
